A general election was held in Creeperopolis on 3 October 1896 where voters elected all 350 members of the National Parliament of Creeperopolis (commonly referred to in Creeperopolis as the Second Parliament).

In 1894, the National Parliament passed the Voter Expansion Act of 1894 which expanded the pool of eligible voters to just under one-fifth of the total population of Creeperopolis. It also increased the number of seats in the National Parliament from 155 to 350.

The Creeperian Front won the most seats, but not a majority. Macos Espiga Mina of the National Conservative Party became the prime minister of Creeperopolis and formed a minority government with 174 seats.
