The Holy Empire of Araucarlia and Mateia is a country located in western Ecros bordering Kivu to the north, the Andaluzian Sea to the south, and the Kivu Ocean to the west. Araucarlia has a population of 29 million people, most of whom inhabit the central region near the capital city of Peisla and the city of Pevalle around Lake Pevalle. The nation is a federal theocratic constitutional monarchy, led by Emperor Arthur von Piffer since 2005 and Prime Minister Orestes Opukavyva since 2008. The nation officially holds democratic elections, however these have been widely criticized by the international community for the widespread voter oppression and the continued dominance of the majority Renaissance Party (PRR).

Geography
The country's climate is mainly arid subtropical but the south is more humid along with the northwest. There's a mountain range in the eastern border.
History
Araucarlia was originally populated by the pifferians. that formed many tribes until around 2000bc, when the southern and northern pifferian kingdom arose. After that the 250 year war broke out wich led to the northern pifferian kingdom unifying the araucarlian territory creating the pifferian empire.
The same dissolved around 10ac because of kivuian tribes that invaded the empire after a crisis.
Post Pifferian Araucarlia
after the pifferian empire the araucarlian territory, a kivuian king quickly unified araucarlia. But he died shortly after in 822, leaving the territory to be devided between his 4 children.
During the 4 kindoms era,many low scale wars happened under one kingdom known as the Mateian Kingdom that would be later be known as the
Mateian empire
The mateian empire quickly expanded eastwards, more than doubling the mateian territory. This and began the quick rise of the mateian empire as a big beef and máte producer.
But the araucarlian population quickly grew tired of the mateian elites, wich led to the civil war of 1108.
Wich gave birth to the mateio-araucarlian commonwealth.
In the year 1528 a low-scale civil war led to the creation of the short lived microstate yvytorpea, that lived until 1531 after peacefully rejoining the commonwealth.
In 1588 the mateian empire took it's shot in colonialism,

demographics
the araucarlian population is mostly concentred in the east (70%)that is the region we call lower araucarlia(or just araucarlia) wich is more flat most of the andaluzian speaking population and the capital reside there as well most of the population is araucarlian(88%)
next we have catarinia that is the smallest and least populous region with only 10% of araucarlians living here is also where the most kivuians live(70%) the region is on a subtropical rainforest called the the araucaria forest
the biggest region is mateia is the most diverse region with the majority of jackians living here making 25% of the population but still most of the population is mateian making 70% being 5% other(mostly araucarlian) this region is on mountainous terrain and make 50% of the territory but just 20% of the population
