The Catholic Church of Illyricum (Illyrian Iberic: Çatoleça Eclasae de Elyreco, Romanyan Iberic: Catholica Illyrici Ecclesia) is a christian church centered in New Illyricum which currently has about 5.8 million members. The church is led by Patriarch Publius IV Redillus and its central governing authority is placed in Trurnia, SE Ferunicum. The church was founded around 50 AD by Saint Bartholomew the Apostle and reached its height of power during the Kingdom of Illyricum in the 13th and 14th centuries. Following the East Illyrian Plague and the Illyrian War of Succession, the church lost power and under the current communist regime has limited autonomy and following.
