The 2022 Concord raid, often shortened to simply the Concord raid, was an operation against a successor region for the once infamous but now-defunct Confederacy of Layem.

Background

The region of Layem was left founderless following NationStates' moderation's deletion of the nation Layem. Knowing that this rendered the region effectively helpless, Maur instructed residents of Layem to the backup region of Concord. After Maur was ruled Delete On Sight[note 1], the founder of Concord was deleted. Since the region Layem would not be open to attack until the passage of Security Council Resolution #398, a multilateral collection of forces unfriendly to Layem due to its misdeeds was formed to extinguish Concord in the meantime.

Purge of Layemites

The raid was conducted out of The League's jump point Fukuoka, with 45 updaters initially participating. By 17 May, 151 pilers had been mobilized to provide the influence necessary to remove the remaining Layemites. An order was issued for pilers to withdraw, and a number of pilers were banned to bring finalize the occupation by passwording the region.

The militaries involved began a second mobilization for the 2022 Confederacy of Layem raid
